whitetrash
Have your say!Im running 15's but have considered looking at 16's purely for cosmetic reasons really, anyone got opinions on performance?
silverglanza
Well I had 17 inch alloys with a40 profile tyre and it looked good but it took like 5mph of all my gears and handle like a pig side ways way to easy
Glanza_cl
i'm sure there have been many threads on it... the main outcome and wont differ is 15" for performance/handling 16" for looks/styling To counter act the increased rotational mass of a 16" you would benefit from a lightened/balanced flywheel and clutch set up.Performance isnt majorly sacrificed, just you wont get quite the same characteristics as you would running on 15"s... hope that helps
Idrees
15s are better to drive on but 16s look much better with a bodykit. I've got some 15s on mine, going to leave them on to see if they look good with the kit fitted otherwise I'll move to 16s.
Stulet-GTT
Like what has been said it boils down to what ya after with the car...15's - drivability an handleing..16's - look's..Personally i would stick to 15's but i did have 16's on my old fezzy an the handling was like on rail's, was running a 205/16/40 expensive but worth it... whitetrash
Cheers guys, i'll stick to function over form I think and spend my money on some decent Coilovers instead! Im sure with a little more lowering and some spacing the 15's will look a whole lot better

alim dogus gungor
and i ve a question to everyone. i will change my 4efe's rims and it has 13'' at the moment. i want to buy 16'' rims which are alloy titanium so it is ligher than other 16''. Are this rims too many reduce accelaration ?
Lukew360
Personally I prefer the look of 15s due to starlets being small
