birdmandan
Hey guys so after a good drive in my glanza tonight, i come to stop put her in neutral and then i start to hear this wierd sort of hollow scraping/grinding noise from under the bonnet that i can clearly hear in the car and outside! Now the noise seems to be coming from the pulley area where all pulleys and belts are! I have no idea what this could be! The scraping noise is in time with the engine revs and becomes less noticables when going higher revs because of engine noise drowning it out but im guessing its there all the time. This noise has started to get a little louder each time i listen for it ;)Has anyone ever experienced a problem like this before? i am totally confused and scared that my engine is going to break again! ( my bottom end went a month ago) So yeah guys what you think? Any help and replies will be Fully appreciated!!Thanks in advance, Dan
1987glanza
sounds like it could possibly by your water pump, try taking the aux belts off and start it see what happens, if the niose is still ther could be down to your tensioner on the timing belt. hope this will help...marc
