track slag/cheap fun

hi all

i aint getting rid of the ep, but i am getting another car!!!!

me and my mate are planning on buying a track car project, anything that is good to modify for track use!!

iwas thinking old mr2, mx-3, vauxhall calibra and so on

i am wondering what you would all suggest

the car must cost no more than £400!!!! not including mods of course

Hmm.. tough cookie this. Have you thought about maybe a 106 or 205? Lightweight, plenty of tuning parts available, cheap and easy to throw into corners.

nice ideas guys, had not thought of the peugeots, what with hating most french cars but i see what you mean

also, i saw an mx-5 for £400 and its was a total minter with coilys, mazda speed exhaust and all the toys

turned out that you were buying a 25% share in the veihcle with the right to drive it on arrangement!!!
