Socks
ill say it on here too paul pnp ecus are widely regarded to be used on ct9 and equivilant hybrids... there all different pretty much and its pot luck which map you get...unless is a pnp ecu mapped for a td04 then your playing with fire... it could run rich or lean... please pleasde please. dont boost it up till youve got the fuel mix checked on the rollers! GTnomez
If you run it at stock level ( before fuel cut then it shouldnt be a problem, .8 or whatever it is)
CLARKYTRD
all these plug and plays are all overated, the money they are going for is unreal.get yourself a decent ecu that you can remap, at least you know it'll be mapped for your own modifications and not having it fuelling like mad for a little ct9 hybrid.go get an emu or a full standalone. DavidAshton
I bet it will be 100% fine. Even a stock ecu will fuel a td04 at .7 bar.Local starbo owner used one on a ct9, hybrid and than td04 at 1.2bar with no issues and it went like stink.Never ever seen one not fuel whats thrown at it and plenty of people run em with td04's, i know i wouldnt have any worries if i did, infact ive seen better fueling graphs with td04's than ct9's. Steve GT
all these plug and plays are all overated, the money they are going for is unreal.get yourself a decent ecu that you can remap, at least you know it'll be mapped for your own modifications and not having it fuelling like mad for a little ct9 hybrid.go get an emu or a full standalone.Totally totally disagree with that statement. The plug and plays are brilliant little ECU's and are very well liked and definiatly not over ratedWhy do you think they go for that amount of money?? its cause they have a brill reputation and instantly change the characteristics of the car with a quick 5 minute ecu change. just for discussion purposes have you ever owned a plug and play ecu?Chesh it really doesnt matter if you have a td04 the ecu's will fuel them correctly its the boost pressure that does. so as long as youve got the boost set under 1.2 bar id say it will be fine. best to check fueling for safety but shouldnt imagine it would make a difference1 bar on a standard ct9 or 1 bar on a td04 IS STILL 1 BAR lol the eci's are rated for 1.3bar boost so should be safe
string
1 bar on a standard ct9 or 1 bar on a td04 IS STILL 1 BAR lol so if thats true mate. why do td04's eat ct9s. surely the td04 flows alot more AIR at a bar. thus meaning it needs more FUEL.so dunno if plug n play cope. just my view
rorenapier
Steve your half way correct, remember the presure will be the same, but the volume will be greater with a TD04 over a CT9.But to answer the original Q, if you want to buy the PnP ecu, then go for it, there fine units, if there checked on the rollers for fueling etc.But from experiance, 0.7bar will be fine on the Access(I run 1.1 bar on a Mines ECU with a TD04, and it fueled just fine)BUT GET THE FUELING CHECKED REGARDLESS!! Steve GT
String i agree maybe i should have been more preciesebut the fact still remains the answer is that pnp's will run a td04 safely
Guest cheshireglanza
^^ cheers guys for the feed back im going to get the ecu
DavidAshton
Also dont waste money going to a rolling road getting the fuel checked, just get someone with a wideband and do a few street runs, should only cost you £25ish.
