gingdust Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 At the moment I'm running the following Mods:FMICFront air filter relocationHKS SSQVHKS Actuator set @ 1 BarJAM ECUDecat and SPS ManiStraight Through Exhaust systemIm worried about running it lean with no fueling mods, especially with the ECU?I think im going to invest in a A/F ratio gauge, but is it worth getting a RRFPR and Fuel pump? even with the ECU?Any advice would be appriciatedthanks Quote
rorenapier Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Dont bother with a RRFPR, but i would suggest a fuel pump just to be on the safe side. Then pop to a local Rolling road for a check on the air/fuel ratio etc Quote
gingdust Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Ok buddy thanks for the advice. Anybody else agree with this? Thanks Quote
Guest cheshireglanza Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 will the jam ecu not sort the fueling up to 1.2 bar Quote
Socks Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 majority of plug n play ecus will fuel the car for ct9/ct9 hybrids....with no need for a fuel pressure reg!simple is better, just buy the fuel pump kit! Quote
micky boy Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Yep agree with above get you self a fuel pump then get your self to the RR and see how she's fueling.I had a Blitz Ecu on my old glanza and the only time i've ever heard of anyone useing a FPR is when they advance the timeing abit (TO GET ABIT MORE POWER OUT OF IT)as the blitz ecu's run rich at the top end which kills the power abit. gingdust Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Cheers Micky, Socks and Cheshire, I'll do exactly that! Quote
