just notiched today when looking on tgtt that the late spec Vs have central locking (optional extra) now i knew i had central locking since there been a fob on my keys but it does not work so didnt think anything of it, now theres a sensor on the rear view mirror for the fob to work the central locking when i put my fob right next to the sensor it works but when i try go out side and lock it does not work, here is the guide on how you get it to work well mine isnt but...

any other ideas on how it works? i kno my fobs working along with the sensor just will not program to my V!

How many buttons on the fob?

Tried resetting it?

On mine i hold the lock and unlock buttons down for about 10 seconds pointing towards the car.. Could try that?

there is only one button on the fob mate

no idea on how to reset it as theres only one button on the middle of the fob..

i had the same as you mate

went to toyota and bought a new fob for £35 and did that programming thing and worked fine but i still had to be next to the car to unlock

then got an alarm fitted last week and can unloock it form 100metres away now

yea i will get a new alarm soon just want this wei gadget to work for now lol..

did you have a one before? then bought a new one?

hmm dont want to really buy a new one as i have one that seems to work...
