Andrew Miller
Its starting to get expensive haha . I dont have the money for the ecu unfortunantly. My plan was to get the fcd and fpr and get it fitted and checked on a dyno to make sure it was fueling right etc. I use my car everyday but its only ragged now and again so i thouht this would be ok? ? Also on the subject of the apexi safc are they anygood?
Guest cheshireglanza
^^ yes you will be fine dude with that setup just get it checked out and i have never used apexi safc so cant help you there
micky boy
I would rather save for the ECU worth every penny...Im thinking of buying a bog standared glanza soon and the first thing i will be buying befor anything is an ECU the thing i dont like about FCD'S is if it decides to stop working. Socks
very rare a starlet get over 200bhp on stock engine and turbo with a fuel pressure reg and fuel cut defender...majority get 170-180bhp...plug n play ecus if yourrunning stock engien and turbo are totally worth there money and with support mods at the MMRR day, all of the cars running them got over 195bhp... mine got 202bhp... as said save up u wwill be impressed
Steve GT
plus by the time youve bought a FCD, RRFPR and had it dyno'd your nearly at the same money as a cheapish plug and play would be
Andrew Miller
I just dont have the money for a ecu and getting it fitted etc. Ill go with fcd and just be careful i think. Defo upgrade the oil feed line. As for relocating kit. I had one but boost creep was awful lol so put efi pipe back on. Wastegates ported asmuch as it can be aswell
