StarletMad Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 A few people i know with Starlets etc get Boost at low revs causing the BOV to open or at least they get some chatter...I have to rev mine to like 5-6k to even get the gayest psssttt ever... any reason for this :/I have a TD04 dunno if this effects it??Helpage please peoples Quote
Amjad Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Mine does this but I thought it may be normal lol (Stock TMIC with standard recirc DV valve blocked off for chatter) Quote
StarletMad Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 Ye hmmmmm.... Daniel. has got a glanza though and honestly he barely revved it and he got a stunning chatter out of it :/ Quote
Raz Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 If you accelarate slowly but high you don't get boost, you have to dab the accelerator to make it boost etc. Quote
Socks Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 whats the point in revving it to near the redline at a standstill anyway :/ Quote
StarletMad Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 Lol because i was totally confused how his is boosting at very low revs but all im saying is mine isnt doing it until about 5-6k DW im not a chavvy twat that sits at the lights revving it! Quote
ktl Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Mine does it mate, even on a hybrid ct9 i couldnt get a whoopdush at standstill at lower revs. Anyway now i just use launch controll for some showingoff lol Quote
Dean @RW-Developments Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 same on my td04 mate u need it on load driving to get a good sound! and its also because the td04 compared to a ct9 is more laggy and because its not on load the revs your saying is about right tbh not producing much boost Quote
StarletMad Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 Ahhhh ok thats pooop lol Thanks guys Quote
StarletMad Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 I dont lol was just curious incase i had a boost leak or problem Quote
