micky boy Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 As for oil i use 5w-30 in the winter and 10w-40 in the summer and i've always use Toyota oil and never had any bother..But thats just down to personal choice most people use 10w-40 all the time.As for the rest of your questions i dont have a clue lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

greasemonkeyspb Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 5w30 oil will be thin being fully synthetic so when really warm will be like water in a good clean engine this is ideal.10w40 is like multigrade really its quite thick but thins down nice for good protection when hot ive always put 10w40 in my mates glanza and never had any porblems but as said above its all down to personal choice and condition of the engine mate Quote Link to post Share on other sites
