Worth the asking price?

Recommended Posts

i like the look of it a lot looks like pretty clean car. I paid £4200 for my car last year being fresh import, i wanted a standard car. If i had known enzo could of imported one cheaper at the time i would have definately gone down that road. Imo i think that car is a little over priced but i have been and viewed a few standardish glanzas lately and there are so many of them that have been abused and are in real bad states, and all of these where around the £2500 price. I believe you get what you pay for really. A friend of mine has just bought a highly modified glanza which was for sale on this forum not so long back of respected reptuble guy but the amount of problems he has had so far with it is outrageous, gear boxes clutch, turbos mangement the list goes on, he paid 3500 for it but has had to spend well over 1000 on it just to get it on the road and he is still having problems with it.

All sorts of people are gettin there hands on these cars now, from genuine enthusiasts to chavs and other scrouts. I wouldn mind paying a little extra to get a car that has been looked after and cherished and has a price to reflect this, because it saves you money down the line.

As more and more people get their hands on these cars more and more of them are going to get abused and fucked like the s2 escort turbos but the genuine looked after and professionally modified cars will hold there value well. just my 2p on the situation

Ye I know where your coming from here. I would gone through with buying this until I heard that I can import a newer model for the same price. I'm trying hard to find one that has been looked after well. I can't afford for things to go wrong all the time so hopfully my judgement is good hen I do buy! :)

Just dropped this guy a text now, as i am very interested in this. For a nice fresh standard start to my new project. But got my eye on another one for near enough the same price that has a few mods and is in near enough the same condition.

We'll see what happens.

Thats the reason I was interested. Seemed a nice clean motor to start a project with. I think I've changed my though now. I want one that is slightly nodded for me to carry on with. I'm still a student with a part time job so I think that's the best route for me ;)

Hes replied and i think i might be going for a viewing on this next weekend! :) It looks soo mint and tidy. Would prefer one with a few mods but this one has a Cat 1 alarm which is a big thing for me.

You won't be disappointed bud. Very good condition inside and out! :)
