lew777
Right had the rear of the inside of my car sprayed black and the shop that have done said he didnt realise the metal had a layer of silcone on it and theres spots of it in the paint work now. He said he will put another layer of paint on it for free. I wanted to know if the paint would be ok or would it get worse over time if he didnt put a new layer on? Thanks for any help
Amjad
Idrees resprayed the Glanza because of silicone I think? Think he sanded it back too?
james@cjperformance
will need to be sanded back dude any sort of solvent and paint do not mix period, i would take it back have him prep it properly and repaint, if he is not prepared to do this then get your money back and go to someone who will do the job properly.if he trepaints over the original layer of paint that he has applied those spots will re appear in time. ;)
lew777
He said he will repaint it free of charge. I said i would go tomorrow and have a look at it. Would the patches get worse or stay the same if he wasnt to repaint it
Idrees
If he paints over it, the silicone is going to show through straight away, no matter how many coats he gives it.Ask him to sand it back down and respray it ;)
