Rear Window Mech doesn't want to work

Recommended Posts

The rear wiper has got slower and slower to the point it has now stopped and won't move when the switch is turned on. I can hear the power click the motor but its not shifting the wiper. If i get out and give the wiper a gentle shove it'll start to work again.

Anyone had the same problem?

Is it a new mech or just a clean and WD40 for the mech?

Cheers

i got a spare rear motor unit if you want it cheap, took it off my car while i was going mad chopping stuff out, £10 posted and its yours.

May as well try WD40 first! I know the boot lock mechanisms can be iffy too!
