Janus Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Hello all. My heating is merely luke warm. Does anyone know how to fix this? Not sure if its the thermostat or somnething elsecheers Quote
chris H Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 from cold take your rad cap off, turn your heater to the hottest setting, start the engine and top up the rad, let it warm up with the rad cap off and that should expell any air in the system mate Quote

I changed the coolant at the weekend and it seemed a touch warmer. Just not sure if the thermostat is duff Quote

daz gt turbz Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 what does the engine temp do when its running? does it get warm or always stay cold? Quote
micky boy Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Most probably the heater matrix is fucked, unfortunately your dash has to come out to get to it. Quote
StarletMad Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Take both pipes off in the engine bay put the air line in and the rag packed around it and fire away The rag just gives it more pressure as all the air is then forced forward and doesnt come backwards Quote
