gaz Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 mines got a huge crack in.. lots of stone chips n sctratches.i have a spray gundo you reckon its cheaper to buy fibreglass, filler, paint, laquer, primer and other items like sanding paper.or cheaper to try n find a nice-ish second hand one?what do you guys thinki maybe be modding the bumper in the future for fmic but not sure yet.this whole idea something im considering doing for the future. scutch0 Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 i just bought a new one when my old n/a one got mullered.bumpers flex, so it will allways crack again and again. i'd buy a new one and cut it out for the fmic then spray it up, that way youre not off the road at all. and you just need to swap them over when you want. paul w Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I was about £100 for a 2nd hand bumper in black for the project GT,much easier than pissing round with fiberglass and filler! It's not really the time of year to be repairing stuff on the driveway especially painting as the cold will make the paint go like orange peel if it's too cold!
