Well bought the ram manifold and was told it would fit but the intercooler pipe needs just a tiny bit more room :) the pipe is touching the manifold and it still needs to be leaning a bit further upwards! Is there anyway I can slightly rotate the turbo without having to buy new brackets and stuff?

If you take the turbo off, you can rotate either side of the turbo with a bit of handy work, take a look at "how to rotate a turbo" threads

Its the hdi route, the flange seems to be fine its just where the pipe is coming from the flange. The minfold is slightly intruding where the pipe should be going so it doesnt go on fully. At first i did think it was the flange and i ground it down a bit but then found out otherwise :) lol

with that clip removed it should rotate... but the ct9 you have it probably fairly old and is stuck together. a bit of force with a rubber mallet and it will come apart.

just be careful you dont damage the shaft or blades.

or as above, could you heat the intercooler pipe up and very carefully bend it to fit?

How hot would i need to get the pipe though? Would an oven provide enough heat (250'c iirc)

if you've undone the bit your pointing too then i think you've done it wrong. yes you may get clearance but you'll also move the oil return from pointing straight down. personally i'd undo the circlip on the back of the compressor and rotate that way. could be wrong though.

thats the way i was told to do it, take off the circlip n hit it round with a hammer
