Well everything was going well with putting new turbo kit on rad etc...

Started car oil pishing out the banjo bolt on the oil return pipe, so tried tighten it up more.. But it's not going tight enough if anything it's going slacker then a wee bit tight then slacker and so on

Any ideas

Is it the bolt that go's into the oil filter houseing big 19mm i think? orr the ones that go to the turbo?

Edit..Ryan beat me to it :) thats what i was going to sugest

It will be stripped as its only alloy,Same happened to me,try some thread tape and take it easy when putting it in.I ended up getting 2nd hand one from idrees.Local engineering place might helicoil it tho for about 20quid

Were would you get thread tape? And would part co sell an 19mm banjo bolt

Halfords do it am sure.Dont think it will be the bolt,it will be the hole thats threaded.If not i have a bolt here.

A think it will be housing. A could take the housing off my gt?? A would take the bolt off you but a kind off need it for the mozz thanks tho mate

just take it off the the gt mate, not got the banjo from the gt aswel?

I would of thought the banjo bolt would be ok? it should be alot tuffer then the houseing..I cant see it been to hard to change i would also replace the paper gasket aswell..
