Whitegv Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 i woke up this morning to find i had no access to my email accounts, and have got home tonight to find that money has been taken from my paypal account and i cant log on to my ebay becuase all passwords have been changed.ive contacted ebay via the law enforcement bit, and opened a dispute with paypal and the other party that recieved the money (gumtree for some reason) anyone know what else i can do? _shaun_ Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 what anti virus do u use? get your computer scanned first thing make sure its all clear if its all good THEN change all your passwords. depending what u do on your computer it can be worth changing your ip but thats only if its a personal attack.paypal wise u should be fine as paypal should be able to spot it wasnt u that made the transaction but also get in contact with your bank aswell and let them no if u have a keylogger or a rat on your comp chances are they have all your bank details aswell. I haven't been hacked into but been getting emails about e-cheques coming out of my paypal for £200 for goods an to click on this link. Just deleted it but been checking my paypal everyday since!
