Idrees
Yeah mate your wheels are much better than these! These wouldn't suit a GT in my opinion. They're not for our SR anyway, check the members others ride section..

jon5698
Can you not get them sand blasted? would save a lot of time.
Idrees
Thats exactly what i've been thinking mate but didn't bother taking that route.I'll do that definitely next time though its like £15 a rim.P.S Got another set of Speedlines for our SR
jon5698
would it not work out cheaper to buy a small air compressor and a sandblasting gun? you can pick the compressors up for £50 £15 per wheel aint bad if you think how long in man hours it will take to sand by hand. You are just being greedy with the speedlines now lol
Sparky
P.S Got another set of Speedlines for our SR Good good so you like my idea in my first post???

rob_bower
Try nitromors. It worked for me and was on offer in B&Q!!! It took the original paint off and anything I'd sprayed on!!!
Idrees
Nitromors works on the spokes but it doesnt do much on between the spokes and little edges!I'm going to try with a toothbrush or something though..

Idrees
Got one stripped and primed. rob_bower
Nitromors works on the spokes but it doesnt do much on between the spokes and little edges!I'm going to try with a toothbrush or something though..Yea it can be a bit fiddly. wire wool soaked in nitromors works a treat though. just make sure you wear gloves and give it a good scrub.i only used nitromors so i could mend the lips after and it was cheap!!!!
