Quick question

The two hoses under the coolant hose in the picture, I think there oil feeds, they go into the back of the turbo, if I disconnect them am I going to get oil gushing everywhere or will it be alright?

They are coolant feeds so you will get coolant going everywhere but not alot really

youll have water comming out, they are the coolant lines for the turbo......just use one hose and loop it if you dont want to run them to the turbo

I've already drained the rad so it shouldnt be too much right?

coolant hoses, yourl get a bit but it wont come gushing out

Right all that is holding the turbo on now is this blue pipe and the arm that comes off and into the block.

Can these be remove without oil coming out or not?

Some will come out but not all off your oil

It's your oil return pipe and oil feed pipe in they pics

Oil will come out but again not LOADS.

So if your on your drive, get some rag underneath. My mom has kicked my ass about it before LUL

Just standard ct9 ATM, my hybrids fucked so temporary downgrade.

In other news it's back together now. Shitting myself and don't wanna turn it on though, never done a turbo and got visions of it going bang!

Just started her up and there's some smoke coming from off the manifold, do you think this is just a bit of spilt oil or something.

let it run for abit mate see if it burns off

It will smoke for a while just grease from hands n oil etc will stop after a good drive

Did you prime the turbo by taking the king lead out and turning over the car till the oil light went out??

Ye I did mate, the smoke is because coolant is leaking from somewhere and Burning , most likely from the back of the turbo which is a bitch to get to.
