Best to remove all, cat - turbo give ya self plenty of room an if it comes to it red aswell..

Then you should have room to get in there proper, soak bolts in WD-40 to...

had a really hard time when i gutted my catalist,,,to many bolts to handel :D had to write everything on paper B)

As above, I'd personally remove the turbo and decat/cat too. Makes things easier!

Fitted mine on the weekend, I won't lie it's not easy lol

Start by removing your radiator, gives you loads more room and doesn't take long.

Then remove the efi pipe off the turbo - you need long nose pliers for the clip and can access that from underneath the car. While your under there undo the 2 bolts on the oil feed pipe and take off the oil return hose.

The hardest bolt on the manifold is the bottom left nut, we removed the bracket on the power steering pump so we could access it.

And as above like the others have said, just leave the turbo and decat/cat together and lift it out as one unit. Just undo the 3 bolt flange on the exhaust.

I replaced my gasket from manifold to block with a genuine Toyota one.
