Well I'm looking to hopefully convert to TD04 in the next couple of months but just wanted a bit of advice on which kit is the best but still at an affordable price. I've been looking at the Racetech kit which comes with everything, the WEPR kit which doesn't come with turbo, lines or waste gate and the 'budget' kit which consists of the Toyosports manifold/down pipe etc. Which would you get if you had the choice, bearing in mind that theonly way i'll be able to get the Racetech kit is to put a deposit down and save up a bit longer. I'll then have to save again to get an e-manage and get it mapped..

Any other kits to bear in mind? Really unsure where to spend my money and which is going to work out cheapest for me.

to be honest this has been covered millions of times just search td04 kit i also had a massive thread on this subject with like 60 replys all the information u need u just need to do some research

i personally use wepr , ive been building up parts for months, check my buildthread for a whole list , all i need now is the td04 lines and an ecu and im complete all in all i went full hog and brought everything new, and brought things i didnt need but might aswell change while doing such a big job and so far ive spent around £1000 and still got another £600ish to spend so thats a rough price

£1500 - £2000 depending on wastegate etc

sparky and socks both have big builds and racetech , but honestly just read through the forum bud

I'd recommend Race-Tech kit, I'd also get Ricky to fit it you so you get the extended warranty. Plus his maps seem to work out alot better then other mappers out there atm.

I'm running one and it's awesome :)

That is crazy money on insurance tbh!

Either way, WEPR all the way! Cant fualt them in any way, im on my second kit from sacha (i change turbo kits like most people change alloys/tyres lol) and have had plenty of other makes, WEPR quality is awesome! Also fit the kit your self its not hard and the money you save on labour will by your ecu ("cough" like the 2 week old dastek im selling for £300 "cough")
