Raz Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Using this guide HERE i removed the Air Con Evaporator and now the damn fans only work on full blast. WTF? Quote
LukeSR Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 You need to wire the switch to something, will have a search for you.Edit: You mean the heaters? Quote
rorenapier Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Everything plugged in as it should? The guide works, thats already been proven Quote
miib14 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 iirc if its running only on full, it means its running off the battery... check plugs, cables and fuse (if there is one) Quote
vit Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 there is a resistor on,which control the speed, check plugs wires.. Quote
Raz Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 had the dash out, checked every single connection even the ones not related to the fan but can't find anything amiss. I am baffled tbh. How many wires are suppost to be coming out of the fan speed control plug?I think mine had 2 :S Quote
vit Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 on the guide on the top ,check pic step 3 ,the sensor have you connected this back, this unit that control the speed..check that...all the plugs..hope that help Raz.. Quote
GT Phayer Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 if it only works on full theres a problem with the resistor either the resistor itself or wiring to it as on full power it doesnt us the resistor to run the heater fan if that makes sence Quote
Raz Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 LMFAO, I COMPLETEY RAPED THAT SENSOR TO BITS!!!!!!!! Quote
Raz Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 I think i need a new one now..Surely if i connect some of the wires up it should work, Or make everything go bang? Quote
Raz Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 Well, once i put everything on and it wasn't working. i had the sensor and pliers in my hand.(while i was thinking wtf) So i pulled all the metal tabs out of it shattering the white stuff which was crumbling down on to the road and all the tabs have been twisted and shit when i tried to pull it out. Which i did eventually pull out and throw on the grass lol Quote
Raz Posted June 4, 2011 Author Posted June 4, 2011 surely someone must know a way to bypass that sensor, If not i'll have to dish out some monies. Quote
