Kennedy
Not sure if this is the correct section. But after putting up with it last night in the rain I lost the back end of the car and ended up "drifting" up a slip road and playing eat the curb with my bumper.I wouldn't mind if I was going fast but I wasn't :/Is there anyway to cure oversteer/lift off oversteer in a FWD starlet?List of suspension/handling mods;Standard Front StrutOptional 3 Point Rear StrutWhiteline RARBD2 CoiloversAnti-Lift Kit?I only have cheapy tyres on the rear which I know I should change but theres still loads of tread on them.Anything else I should get? Please help before the Starlet gets sold/broke and I buy something else. LukeSR
I'm always fighting with the back end in the rain, sharp corners + throttle = oversteeeeeeeeeeer madness
Dan507
As above. the only thing i can suggest is putting breeze blocks in the boot
micky boy
I'm always fighting with the back end in the rain, sharp corners + throttle = oversteeeeeeeeeeer madness X2 love it lol..what tyer pressure do you put in? also i found on my old glanza when i had the oem rear strut brace in the back end seemed to be too stiff if ya like and the back used to step out more then what it did without it in so maybe give that ago. Kennedy
Ye it is good fun, in fact i love sliding..but not when it becomes uncontrollable and it breaks my new bumper lolMight try and take the rear strut out next time its raining and see what its like..handles great in the dry though lol
Driver
Tyres make soooooooo much differance !!!Loose the cheap shite tyres and it should solve 90% of issueAlot of people complain starlet are oversteery but i beg to differ, mine used to understeer everywhere (chassis isnt brilliant impo)Loosing your strut brace in rear will make very little differance in my opinion alsoSeriously, get some decent tyres for rear and run them at correct pressures and (if you actually know how to drive) Should make a world of differance
