fattony Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 are the ruber boots that sit covering the front shock inner workings (the big boot thing) available to purchase seperately? mine have basically just completely just fallen apart when ive taken them apart to change the springs!being as they sit underneath the spring are they esential (to stop knocking noises's) or do they just sit under the springs as there was no where else to fix them to?any help much appreciated! fattony Posted June 25, 2011 Author Share Posted June 25, 2011 http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/ph...e=1&theaterthis picture shows the removed shock topmount area, on my other shocks there is no foam insert inbetween the top of the strut plate and the pillow mount thing (basically the thing that lloks like black foam in the middle of the picture!) if this is missing from my other shocks, could it cause a light knocking noise whn going over bumps?
