boost backing off, not making 1 bar

Recommended Posts

hello

right i set my actuator at 1 bar

but i only seem to be getting 0.8/0.75 bar on my gauge.

The car feels quick

but seems to be a good kick of boost then backs off

Could this be my turbo?

or a leak?

or my actuator(hks)?

when fitting the HKS it felt tight and not loose?

any ideas?

CT9 turbo

Adjust the actuator again and then see if you can hit 1 bar - assuming you have got other supporting mods (fuelling something to remove fuel cut etc?)

all supporting mods,

fmic

blitz decat & exhaust

hks actuator

ported manifold and turbo

relocated filter

JAM ecu

What is standard boost in bar?

do the ct9s seem to back off at the top end of revs?

it only backs off slightly at higher revs.(not at 3.5K)

theres no leaks as i carnt feel anything(hipefully)

would it be a good idea to me to get a MBC or EBC and up the boost from that?

or adjust actautor at 1 bar?

try actuator but most people use a boost controller over .8 i think. also the ct9 will run out of puff high end.

Thanks dude. Reset actuator. Was set at 124mm opps

Now at 121/120
