I want to remove the belt-driven power steering from my engine compartment.

My problem is I do without the luxury of a power steering will not.

My thought there is an electronic power steering system by another car to take over and build the equipment near the gear down.

Did any of you ever done such a work? or a good idea how can I implement it?

My problem is I need the space for further tuning.

Whether this conversion is necessary, a secular state run show I have an idea how I can still get more torque from the engine. But for just the hydraulic lines are gone.

Has anyone ever done this, removed the power steering. ? It would be nice to loose the heavy pump and pipe work. Can you just unbolt the pipes and still have steering.

You get used to driving with no power steering, it's not much trouble. I'm running 16x8" wheels on mine so they are heavier than most popular 15s, my PS hasn't been working for 2 months and it doesn't feel too heavy

i took the powersteering off our rallycross paseo, remove everything including the rack,

take all solid pipes off the rack, and empty all the hydraulic fluid out of it. now find some bolts to screw in the holes left by the pipes, and chop them off flush, so they are blanking plugs to stop dirt and dust getting in there.

now refit the rack.
