How to Properly fit a catch can? and is it worth it?

Managed to get hold of a D1Spec oil catch can for a tenner today, and am wondering how its fitted? am i right in thinking it can be placed anywhere in the bay, and have a pipe coming off the PCV Valve, into one connector on the can, and then the second running back into the intake as per factory? so its basically just inbeetween?

Did have a search but couldnt quite find what i wanted!

i think the final verdict was the best way ( turbo application ) was 1 up the top between the pcv valve and inlet ( keeping the pcv valve or similar valve if using race spec cover ) and one off the other breather and going to a can n then yo the intake before the turbo i think.

for na i think the idea is just the same but keep the other rocker breather going back to the inlet
