siren676
Stopped riding about 3 years ago when i got into modding the starlet Use to do cross country in my college team but i made the mistake of getting a full suspension downhill mountain bike which weighed 1/2 a ton so didnt like going up hills. It was a tank on the downhills and jumps though.Should really start riding again and get some exercise.
jham
some epic pics here guys im itching to get one now~!
Dan507
Some really old photosThat photo was taken a bit too early so you can't see full extension, its a pretty big dropA better view
The Toffinator
Where the hell are them trails man and why the hell are you not riding them!! They look awesome!
gaz
Firstly, 5, 7".5 apparently is average in Britain, so you're ok. ha.I'm looknig at getting into this too but thinking of using my Dad's bike.Is it best to have suspension on both wheels? Some people seem to prefer one?
The Toffinator
It IS better to have a full susser when general trail riding, but only because its a bit comfier and you can travel quicker up/down and across ground due to it absorbing bumps etc. Not neccesarily more fun though as you ride them differently
jham
Sorry to keep dragging this up, Ive just found a bike that im interested in.Only concern is it would appear the owner has switched the brakes to the rear brake is on the right hand side.I dont think i coulkd get used to this. Would it just be a case of removing cable from leaver then switching them round do you think?
Glanza_cl
yeah pretty much, as long the cable is long enough. Its all down to preference really... i only run a rear and thats on the left.obviously make sure there not hydro as that would be slightly more complicated lol
Dan507
Are the brakes cable or hydraulic?
jham
yea if there hyrdo i know they will need to be emptied and bled through, just wondering if the principle was just to swap the cable over. It doesnt state if there hyrdo or not will have to drop him a message
