Raz Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 I have some H4 HIDs for saleThis type bulb they are 8000k. Do you want to buy them? Quote
BoGlE Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Hmmm how bright do they have to be too be illegal? i didnt think the ebay kits were badly priced lol. I just googled for them and some were about £120 Quote
ryan33hks Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Its not the brightness that's the problem really, it's that they don't align correctly due to the headlight not being designed for h.i.d's. This can cause the light to scatter. Some M.O.T testers will fail it some wont. Quote
Asad Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 its not so much the brightness its the beam pattern which is wrong, only real projector lenses will give you the correct pattern instead of just a scattered "blob" of light which will dazzle on coming traffic and cause an MOT failureALL of them should be failing it ^ Quote
ryan33hks Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 All of them should Fail for Decat's etc aswell but..... Quote
