DocRabMcQueen
Hey folks, I was just doing a few checks of my car today and I went to turn on the ignition, now usually I turn the keys to the point where all the electrics are on, then I push the button on the fob then turn it to turn the car on, I accidentally went too far this time and went to start it straight away and I think I've set the immobilizer off, the car is now dead and won't turn on or react to the locking fob (I can't actually lock the car). Can anyone please help??-DocPs: The manufacturer is hornet. Taggy
Doesnt sound like an imobilizer, it should only kill the ignition not the whole cars electrics. Do the head lights work when you turn them on to check the battery? After that i would check the battery in the key fob, then if your still having no luck, turn your focus to your fueses in the dash and then the engine bay. That should be a good start for you to fault diagnose it
Starlet__SR
Have you popped the fuse for the immobiliser? Normally under the steering column with the rest of the wiringD
DocRabMcQueen
Cheers folks, I'll have a look see once the rain goes off.Thinking about it when I did do it there was a 'pop' noise when it happened so that might be it.But yeah the electrics are totally dead
