yaristurbo Posted September 23, 2011 Share Posted September 23, 2011 hi guys having a bit of trouble, i have built i forged 5e up, block and crank 5eall engine ancillaries are from a 4ethe powersteering tension bolt doesnt no line up with the usual place where it should its about 5mm out, which means i cant get the correct sized bolt in the holes???much aggrro caused, if ayone has any info please let me knowthanks guys danny Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Bean Posted September 23, 2011 Share Posted September 23, 2011 You need to get longer bolts by about 15mm and space the bracket out about 15 either make a spacer up or just use a load of washers. Then the bolt hole will Line up to tension the belt Quote Link to post Share on other sites

pockrockgtti Posted September 24, 2011 Share Posted September 24, 2011 Well what i did when i built my forged 5e, i used a 4e belt, and i spaced out the top bracket by 10mm, then i had to file the semi circular slit wider on the bottom bracket a couple o mm's Quote Link to post Share on other sites
