Nads Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Can you run a TDO4 on standard internals?if so how much bhp?Adam Quote
N80Jamie Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 You can indeed I personally wouldn't go over 1bar though and at that pressure you could see upto 220bhp+ People have ran higher boost levels than this but if your planning on doing this i'd make sure you have a healthy engine and get everything set up the best it can be. Nads Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 the engine will be rebuild with oem spec parts... but glad i can run a td04 without to much modifications Quote
_shaun_ Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 am running a td04 at 1.2 bar on stock internals atm maped on a emu tho i wouldnt trust a plug n plug over a bar Quote
Taggy Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Mine makes 201bhp TD04L with the stock ecu at 0.86bar with supporting fueling mods, i reckon i could get another 25-30hp if i changed the ecu. Quote
Driver Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 How longs a piece of string ....Most dont do over a bar (220ish) some "braver" people do 1.2 (203/40ish)Personally i run 1.5 (270/60ish estimated) on a standard engine that had over 200'000km on it without even dropping the sump, Did that for over 18 month without a single problem on pump fuel. DevonGT Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 To stay reasonably safe I'd stick to 1bar, that's what I'll be running once i get my PFC fitted. Quote
string Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 1.2 is tried. part from driver at 1.5 only other man was sparky at 1.4. but his fresh engine let go. Quote
