mattyD
had my new flywheel fitted the other day, and all seems ok apart from when im doordling along in 4th/5th and want to try and boost, it doesnt really go anywhere :S is this normal? would there be a loss in torque due to the lightness of the flywheel? im not surewhen boosting all the way through the gears its good and works perfectly, i.e revs increase/decrease quicker
Dean @RW-Developments
having a lightened flywheel does cause a loss in torque
mattyD
does my problem sound normal?? the gauge and boost lights light up to where they should but the car doesnt go anywhere :S unless giving it full beans all through the gears

james@cjperformance
chuck it in 5th and floor it. if the clutch is slipping the revs will climb and the car wont go anywhere. dont suppose you have any pics of said clutch when it was out do you. also what clutch are you running ;)
micky boy
If you are in 4th i would of thought it would build up alot quicker with a lightened flywheel then a stock fly wheel as it takes longer to turn the crank!!..Do you not just think you are getting used to the power? lol..also are you runnig an hks actuator? that will help the boost come on abit quicker!
