How to import car from ireland?

has anyone imported cars from ireland? or is anyone still importing?

also anything i need to know before importing one?

me and my brother are thinking of importing a car from ireland but want to know what we need to know before doing anything really

the ferrys cheap enuf, for u car n 1 passenger 1 way shudnt b anymore than a ton surely. as for dvla charges for the plates,cudnt tel u bud, giv them a ring

Im looking into doing this, if its NI its fine insure it and just bring in back and for £55 approx u can reregister it in england, but if its from the rep of ire then its gota be propperly imported and SVA'd etc which I've no idea how to go about it.
