206wasstarletpower
Well once on it does seem sluggish. Almost like its on lo boost. Are they easy to wire up then?
akyakapotter
Yeah mate there's a few guids about
Taggy
make the light come on, take it home, turn the ignition off one click to stop engine but keep ignition on so light doesnt get reset. Then bridge out the correct pins in the diagnostic box in the engine bay and count the flashes of the engine management light, the number of flashes indicates a code for a fault.Check the fault number and hey presto Craig
akyakapotter
Taggy mine used to do what his dose was excessive turbo pressure rrfpr and fdc sorted mine out :-)

akyakapotter
a paper clip mate bridge te1 and e1 on the little box by the fire wall under the bonnet on the battery side little black box with dignostics on it turn the ignition on and the eml light will flash a code will do the first bit say 3 flashes then the second part say 4 flashes so would be error code 34 if there is no faults it will flash non stop :-D
206wasstarletpower
Tidy, will do that tonight when i get home. Surly just a decat and exhaust system cant warrent installing a fcd already? Must be something else surly? or is this a common thing? does that mean i am over boosting? Hou
I had to install one for my turbo back exhaust (plus with the FCD I fitted a rrfpr for safety). The exhaust and decat caused boost creep, so depending on the weather it could hit it very easily
206wasstarletpower
I see, balls more money. Anyone selling a rrfpr?
ro55ifumi
Go the ecu route rather than the fcd, rrfpr route!!
