so looking at getting my TD04 set up on some time soon only thing that worries me is mot time with having no cat i know people will say leave an extra £20 in the car but the garages around me wont do it end of :-( so what i was thinking was get a sports cat Clicky and a TD04 De-cat cut both ends off De-cat and weld it in like the CT9 cat woud this work ? as i really dont wanna be taking it all off and putting the CT9 on for a few days only to take it back off again lol cheers nick

id ryther have it like the ct9 cat set up as i have a blitz nurspec cat back exhaust and dont wanna go fucking round with that would only need to be there for the cat test then id whip it back off and put the decat back on :thumbsup: just want a cat on there at mot time as cant be doing with failing it for no cat lol just wanted to no if it would work or am i wasting my time and have to put my ct9 set up back on every year

if your fitting a cat fit it as close to the turbo as you can the last time i had my nct in ireland i put a cat on underneat just after the downpipe and i ended up with two cats at the same time one after another and it still failed they have to get to a certain temp before they work i think its in around 200degrees
