grum-glanza Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 right cool because i have 20 mm spacers on the car to clear the brakes and i was wondering does this affect the offset if so what would my offset be Quote
lukeEP82 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 -20mm of your alloy wheel off set. e.g if your wheel was et35 it will now be the equivalent to et10 Quote
Simon Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 -20mm of your alloy wheel off set. e.g if your wheel was et35 it will now be the equivalent to et10Would be ET15.... 35 - 20 = 15 Quote
lukeEP82 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 to measure the offset you need to measure the width of the rim e.g 180mm now measure the distance from bolting face to the out side edge of the rim e.g 50mm now subtract that from half the width e.g 90-50 =40 and thats your off set et40. Of set is the measurement of the distance that the bolting face is off set from the centre of the rim. So a wheel with a 0 off set has its bolting flange at the centre of the wheel. Quote
