PaulStarletSR
As i am close to chewin my own face of in the quest to find a proper splitter for the SR, I've been wonderin if you have considered replicatin the TTE or LIVESPORTS splitters or if theres anymore to b had i think u wud sell many many of each splitter as u no the n/a boys r limited in the ways of spitter options :-(please help bud :-)
_shaun_
as far as am aware hes been keeping his eyes out for a tte spliter but the ones that pop up people want stupid money for so he would never actauly make any profit. and the people who do have them no there rare so dont want to lend them to him to make copys
Idrees
Shaun is correct! One popped up for £500. Enough said..
PaulStarletSR
that price is a joke.dont people no if they lend u 1 im sure u wudnt damage it.plus think iddy, if u managed to get it a lil bit cheaper than £500,get a good master copy from it then sold the genuine 1 on ud get your money back and start makin good profit :-)plus im sure ud get at least 7-8 n/a boys thatl defo buy.... _shaun_
most people no he wouldnt damage it and would take care of them for lending it but its the fact there so rare if they lend it to him they part wouldnt be as rare its much like the cruise bonnets they were only 2-3 of them and all the owners decided to keep them rare by not lending them out. now he has managed to get his hands on one theres alot more of them floating arround making the "wow" factor alot less.much like toms spats and sideskirts i want for my car i always search the jap sites looking for a set and still not found any and if i ever did even tho i no iddy would offer me a great deal to copy them i have to admit i wouldnt lend them to him unless i was to sell the car. as i like the idea of my car looking that bit diffrent and not so easy for people to copyalso the time he bought it he would have a hard time selling it on for close to the same price as they person would no he was going to copy it and sell reps for a fraction of the price. take into account tooling and what not and that for a splitter it wouldnt have a massive selling price think he would need it to be like £200 at a push for him to actualy make any profit
Billy SR
i like the fact it's impossible to find a tte splitter and if i had one i probably wouldn't even risk putting it on the car due to the fact some sad bastard would rip the fucker off. if i had the money i would buy an n/a off gumtree from ireland for example http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/swap-my-toyota-starlet-for-a-nice-125yamaha-aprillia/99136224 take the splitter off and resell the car hahai wonder how many are in existence and the history behind them in the first place. it would be amazing to find out the man behind the 'sr' and everything.livesport splitters on the otherhand. do what you want with those ;)
loguey
I assume this live sports splitter you speak of is for the N/A? Got any pics?
ryan lang
yeah the livesports is for an n/a but its moulded for the jdm front bumper, so every bugger would have to buy new front bumpers to go with it
Idrees
Indeed, not sure it fits with the JDM bumper.
