Starletmeech
yea, well thanks anyway mate, but with these they might be spotless when they leave your house but when they reach mine god know what state they will be in!
Idrees
If Si gives them a good wrapping in bubble wrap, they'll arrive with no problems!I'd buy them, they'd look sweeet - As we all know!
Starletmeech
still pretty pricey though, will cost a bit to ship them and there is the £200 before that!
SiCaln
well find out how much it costs to send 4x alloys and well come to an arrangement

SiCaln
pretty much anything u like man, they all bend and can just be screwed into place
Starletmeech
haha i like that idea, what/where do they screw onto? and would it be good to spray them?
Sparky
Welcome to the club mate ;)Thats a pretty cool base to start from looks really low Its a good thing that you dont see many Starlets about, makes you more unique and stand out from the saxo/106 boys ;)Nice set of wheels now to really set it off, debadge/destrip it, and some reflet rear lights and you will have a nice motor for sure
Starletmeech
i'm goin for some lights! yeah i thought it was low before i did it, it is rediculously low now, aint found a speed bump i can happily clear, not even those shitty long red brick ones!
SiCaln
just screw em onto the bottom of the front bumper
Starletmeech
aye i saw that, just had a look on the way home from work, there seems to be pleanty to screw onto
Nanglebadger
hi there and welcome to UKSC!thats a very solid lookin base u have there for moddin! congrats!!!! all the best with wot u do to her!Phil.
Starletmeech
cheers, thats a nice looking one you got there Nanglebadger
Starletmeech
Si do you know how much the wheels weigh? so i can check how much postage would be!Also what can i do under the bonet? don't want to shell out for a new engine with uni round the corner, Idress said about the corolla inlet, is this a good idea or does the intake system need to change, new filter/induction kit for example?
Mikey Jay
The corolla mani gives the car slightly more pulling power, so to speak (nothing to do with girls )Would recommend a K&N panel filter, is a subtle improvement without too much outlay, and just generally is more efficient. Starletmeech
Haha, where do i get hold of one of these manifolds, are they UK standard?I don't need the manifold for that Yeah i was looking at K&N filters but thay always look some wierd oblong shape, not like my panel Nice to see a 'seo i thought bout buying one then realised i have to spend money, and i love the starlet too much to get rid of her for a coupé
Mikey Jay
The Seo is a starlet in disguise anyhoos (same chassis)The pics for K&N's are just generic pics, the actual starlet K&N filter is square, had one in my Starlet, but is now in the Se(same airbox too )
Starletmeech
Yeah a 'Seo is practically a coupé-ed starlet! With a 1.5 of course, does it pull well?thats cool about the k&n filter, i'll look into it at some point! got some plans for the weekend, if i am not too lazy!
Mikey Jay
Is faster than the Starlet but doesn't really feel faster if that makes sense?Revs a lot lower, so feels more effortless you see
Starletmeech
doesn't suprise me that! Do all starlet's sound nice or is there sommit up with mine? I had to get a lot of exaust promlems fixed in the past year, due to an exceeding large speed bump at school and obese friends! Luckly Kwick Fit kept feeling resposable so they did it for free most the time! And then the heat shield problem, i was getting fed up but now its all A OK so goin to looks!
