Other ways of wiring an oil Temp gauge without using oil sandwitch plate?

There is a plug in the standard filter relocator, you can fit an adaptor in there.

But! You still need to modify the power steering bracket to have room for the sensor/cable.

Yeh? How much needs to be taken off? Is it easy to get the bracket off?

Oil pressure is important too, I'd just get a plate and run both..Oh wait, I did

Amjad how much work was needed to get your plate to fit? Dont really want to do alot of grinding/bodging it to fit

I wouldn't call it bodging, they all really need to have the PAS bracket grinded to fit! Few minutes with an angle grinder and a vice is all that's needed!

Trust me it's worth having them both, oil pressure is likely to indicate a failing engine anyway rather than temp as far as I know. And then keeping an eye on temps around track is useful

Is it difficult to get the bracket off in the first place? Spose it would be worth getting oil pressure over water temp

Just loosening the tensioner and undoing a few bits, fiddly but not too bad

Just make sure you get a sandwich plate that fits the filter housing! First one I got was all wrong!

I bought a blue one off ebay and the fitment was terrible, this should be it but try to confirm with someone else too
