Flaminsam Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Do you mean a 4efe? The main causes of high idle Is a leak into the inlet manifold. Could be a Pipe off or even the diaphragm split in the brake servo. I suggest you check your throttle is fully closed first. Then move onto plugging each pipe individually that goes to the inlet manifold. But it could be anything on the inlet. Quote
micky boy Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) Or it could be the idle control valve they are located under the throttle body on the N/A's and on the side of the inlet manifold for glanzas Edited May 21, 2012 by micky boy Quote

Is it worth taking the throttle body off and giving it a good clean out? Quote
Evjatar Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 If it's a leak, you can spray some brake cleaner around the pipes, if the idle changes, there's your faulty pipe. Quote
