i cant get a ring spanner over it as theres not enough room any ideas other than wd40 ?

I got a pair of adjustables on mine and it came out straight away mate. Spray some WD over it and try and give it a crack.

yea mine was super tight! spray the wd over a fre times, leave it over night and try the next day. if its unplugged from the car you shoud be able to get a ring spanner on it....but you need it in a vice.. its still very tight tho!
