Beastmode panda Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 How the heck do you remove the wheel off an ep91? the middle bit doesnt pop out in order to get to the big 19mm bolt due to the air bag im guessing, so how do i get the old one off? is it the torques screw either side?? mattyD Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 yeh mate, two gold star shaped screws either side make sure you disconnect the battery before you take the airbag off though as it might go off ;)and be careful when pulling the steering wheel off as it will take a bit of a pull and you might smack yourself in the face ;) lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
The Toffinator Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 2 screws in the side, unscrew these, there may be a 3rd for the airbag so have a look, this one doesnt come all the way out though it bottoms out on itself. Airbag should then pull offThen put the steering lock on, Undo the centre nut. Leave it screwed on a few threads, then rive at the wheel till it comes loose.Thats it!
