Rusty Disc centres

Anybody have any nifty tricks to stop the centre of the brake discs going rusty as it makes the brake setup look shabby???

grate black, its like shoe polish and use for fire grates so will cope with the temps,

Also something i would like to do as my brakes look awesome but the rusty centres look shit through the wheels, will hammerite do the job? As i painted my normal calipers with that and it worked a treat.

Personally I'd use vht paint as the discs will get alot hotter than the calipers.
