Rota grids

Hi

I've got a set of Rota grid's and just having difficultly finding which centre caps actually fit :/

I've had the rota small DOME caps which does fit inside the centre of the alloys

But once on the car the drive shafts stick out and push them out

So I then bought a set of the MEDIUM TOP centre caps

And they are to big to fit in side the centre of the alloy but it would give it enough clearance if they did for over the drive shafts etc

If someone has had the same problem could you please help lol

Use the normal dome ones but get some 5mm front spacers from Halfords or something and they'll fit a treat

I had to mod my standard ones to fit without the shafts knocking them out, as spacers were causing the wheels to rub

Haha, it might be a bit difficult with the med tops being too big to fit in the hole

If you bought another pair of flat ones, I could probs mod the

Medium tips to fit on your flat bases of that makes sense?

if its the dome ones i think your talking about i have one u could have to try and see if u could mod it to fit

Thats a fair point mate, well basically what i did was carefully peel the logo form the cap, then cut a center out of the cap about 4mm smaller than the caps diameter, then i raised it and plastic welded on top, after that i stuck the logo back onto the raised bit, and filled the gap with some black sealant neatly, can't tell unless your in the know

It was just the flat ones mate that come with standard grids, i could make you some yeah?

Yeah, I only have the set that came with mine but if you had some I could mod them to fit yours mate.

Had the same problem fitting my grids today 5 mil spacers worked a treat mate
