I ended up hammering mine off, had new ones to go on anyway so I wasn't fussed about damaged to the old discs. They can be fairly stubborn, and on some cars they can be a complete piece of piss to take off!

Copper hammer, or a mallet. IIRC there are some screw holes that you wind some bolts in to push the disc off. mate I think.
