Civic Half size rad NEED HELP!

Ive recently bought a civic half size rad, i went to fit it yesterday and the pipe that ya put ya coolant hose on (the one at the bottom) is at the wrong side completely, and my scremer pipe runs straight down blocking it from putting my hose on.

How have people avoided this, has it been done were you can block that bit of and get it welded on, on the other side of the rad? Any help would be appreciated!

Theres been a few of these mate. Mine misses it just however im not happy with it. Look at Mark1991 build thread and i think Lew did it also. They cut that pipe off, welded the hole up, cut a hole on the opposite side and welded the pipe on again. Mark made a pretty decent job of his!

mine was a problem for this, i adjusted how the rad mounted

yh ive tried all sorts to try and get round this, but my screamer pipe gets in the way everytime so getting it moved is the safiest way!

yep. i had to move mine up and back. looked gash when i was done

if i could do it again id move the port

yh it did clear but my hose rested on my screamer which isnt ideal lol so best thing to do is move the port!

Any ideas as to how much it would cost to move roughly?
