Weyro
Looking at getting a VF series turbo, as im pretty sure ive read they are a straight swap for a td04 setup.Im not looking for much more power than a td04, just less lag and quicker spool.Anyone able to recommend which series i should go for?Would be running 1bar.Cheers Edited October 8, 2012 by Weyro
Starbo Moorley
tbh td04 is lagless as it gets all vf's are bigger i believe, you can get td04 hybrids but they aint cheap........

daniel_g
I reckon you should go with a vf series. There are loads to choose from, although they are expensive and harder to source than the td series. Mainly because most of the vf series were made in limited numbers for special edition imprezas. This should help mate/>http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://www.rs25.com/forums/f7/t60874-vf-series-turbo-comparison.html&sa=U&ei=9Gd0UJzCE4eY1AWYu4DABQ&ved=0CCUQFjAD&usg=AFQjCNHgsjQi0-s_ssHQCb9kWKcjbcToAwAlso last time i checked browner had a vf30 for sale. funny onion
i had a vf28, was very laggy compared to a td04...
shorty
I run a vf24 its less laggy than a td04 imo due to being ball bearing. that said i run massive 75.5mm pistons and cams. yourbetter of going for a td04 hybrid or one of the smallest vf's. depending on your setup theres ways to reduce lag. all comes down to what you want from the car and how much you want to spend dude.
