A L 3 X
Right, haven't used the car since Monday and now the battery's dead when I tried to start it about 10 mins ago, battery was bought new 1 year ago.Now is it just the winter as it usually starts first time even left a week, or could it be this which I've recently fitted to fix my non existent main beam dah light with te hids./>http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290589078847?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649Any help would be great? Jhandy
try and do a load test on the battery if you can get a load tester, wouldnt of thought it was that, because otherwise your main beam would be on all the time,
A L 3 X
Not sure what one of them is?And it's strange though mate, like I say I've had this battery for a year this month, and has started after I've worked away for a week, but as I plug this in and a few days later it dies :/This module is designed to replicate a bulb being plugged in I assume ? Amjad
My battery has started playing up a week ago, even left a day the day struggles to start. Hoping it's not the alternator! Looking into those red top batteries as I run a sound system
A L 3 X
Ah right, let me know what you find mate? I cant see mine going after a year though, strange...
ChrisStarletGT
is it a halfrauds battery i hav had two in a year and a half the second went because i connected jump leads wrong way round after i left lights on blew alternator fuse and knackered battery took it back to halfords and blag a new one off em for free i know im naughty haha
Amjad
Will do Alex, the red top was recommended to me by Raffa on here who uses the more hench yellow top version haha. Think it's only about £68 too so not too bad if it's powerful! The one I'm using is Halfords and it's been on the car since before I bought it (over three years) so not bad I guess but over the past year it has gone dead on maybe 5 occasions. Most of them were after leaving the car for a few weeks but lately it wouldn't start even after a day of not driving it but it seems to have remedied itself somewhat. morgey
Take it to your local sts tyres/holburns they should have a tester and will do it for free usually
A L 3 X
Ah cool, can they tell if its the battery knackered or if its the hid module or can they just say its low on voltage as I have a multimeter if that helps lol?
morgey
I dont know about telling you if the hid modules causing it but if you take them the battery they can tell you if its fucked
