MARC MOSS
A lexus v8 would have been better I think. Why?? Rover v8 is an amazing engine and alloy as well... That's why the likes of tvr used them..What is so good about the Lexus v8 ?

Flaminsam
Rover v8's are a dated engine. Technology changes and quite a lot of development has gone into modern day v8's. Good on the bloke for putting the v8 in the lil starlet though.
MARC MOSS
Well u learn something new everyday... Rover v8's unreliable ..?I suppose it's just how it's built, the Lexus has more potential yea quad cams etc but the rover v8 is a very special piece of v8 history and still makes good power when tuned right
Jhandy
Yeah they have over heating problems. It's a rover dude. Yeah true they are a piece of history and yeah they can fly when built and nodded right
Flaminsam
I agree marc. Tuned right they are a cool engine. But in stock form they are a bit of a old school engine. The lexus v8 has also been re vamped recently. The is-f for instance twin turbo v8. I guess the rover v8 has a legacy as it was widely versitile in everything from sports cars to prestige to off road.
